Trenton has experience in assignments involving loss reserving, loss cost projections, captive funding and feasibility studies, and large data processing.
He has worked with loss reserve analyses for group captive insurers writing workers’ compensation, general liability, auto liability, auto physical damage, homeowners and inland marine. He also has technical and analytics experience, which has been used to improve and provide insight into key business processes.
Trenton serves as project manager for multiple group captives and insurance companies, performing both interim and year-end reserve analyses. He performs feasibility and renewal funding studies for group and single-parent captives.
Trenton works with large amounts of data to maintain data warehouses and help develop benchmarks to be applied to reserve analyses and funding studies. In addition, he assists with preparation of Statements of Actuarial Opinion (SAOs), develops simulation applications that calculate risk margins using company specific data, and assists in the development of several models used for loss fund projections and unpaid claims estimates.
